“The Undeniable Working Of God Through His People”

“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise thy works to another and shall declare thy mighty acts. All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.” – Psalm 145:3,4 & 10

What a tremendous privilege it was to be gathered together to praise the Name of our great God, the Lord Jesus Christ. Such was the occasion on May 7, 2006 when Ilagan Baptist Church celebrated its 18^th Anniversary. As we thankfully looked back, recounting God’s wonderful blessings over the past 18 years of IBC’s existence, we stood in amazement at what has been accomplished: the great opportunities to spread the Word of God; the many souls that have been saved; the lives that have been rebuilt; and the ministries that have been established; among many others, and we can confidently conclude that IBC’s success is “The Undeniable Working Of God Through His People”.

Down through the history, God wrought miracles in the lives of His servants: Moses, when He parted the Red Sea; David, when he prevailed over Goliath to prove that there is a God in Israel; Nehemiah, when he led the Israelites to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem; the Apostle Peter, when he made the lame man to walk; and when God wrought special miracles by the hands of the Apostle Paul. Their God is the same God working in us and through us today, and He can continually demonstrate His mighty power through us if we will continue to put our complete trust in Him and be seriously committed to the cause of the Gospel.

The undeniable working of God through His people is for the glory of God alone. Praise the Lord!
